After a very nice, long, busy working- and hughollidays/100305-160505/ in Holland, we are glad to be home again on our Boléro.
She was left behind in the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club Marina, a safe and guarded marina. We can leave her behind with a very relaxed feeling when we want to explore the hinterland. But first things first so we want to extend our charter business. In Holland, we have been working very hard on taking attention of our charter-business via the media, charter -brokers, word of mouth and our -Experience the Boléro Lifestyle- card. Malaysia and Thailand are our new challenge.
We are looking very much forward to it. Cooking books are read to compose delicious menus and the spare parts, weighty stuff have been brought to a very guarded space.
On the 26th of May, some friends arrived from Orewa/NZ and the 22th of June some friends from Nelson/NZ are visiting us on the boat but they have to amuse their selves if we get a charter by coincidence. Because…..Business before pleasure!

Ed: During the time Carla still was in Holland, his four enthusiastic Dutch friends came to explore the sailing area around Langkawi/Malaysia.
Despite of the light weather their reaction was: beautiful nature, beautiful islands, delicious food and so cheap! Anddddd we book for the coming 25 years!

The weather:
May is the wettest month of the year and we have really experienced that feeling: tropical showers, cloudy and days with lots of sunshine. Ed changes his clothes at least four times a day, drinks 3 litres of water a day plus some beers to replenish his lost of fluids and is just feeling great!
